Mt. Cook
Mount Cook, also known as “Aoraki”. That is what the indigenous people of New Zealand, the Maoris, call it. Named after a person of the Ngāi-Tahu tribe. The highest mountain in New Zealand is part of the New Zealand Alps and Mount Cook National Park. It attracts countless mountaineers every year, who unfortunately not infrequently fail to climb it.
