Zurich, Switzerland’s largest city, lies at 408 metres above sea level. It extends over an area of 91.88 km ², of which 4.1 km ² are on Lake Zurich. Zurich originated from the Roman base Turicum and experienced its rise in the industrial age to become the economic metropolis of Switzerland today. Among its most famous sights is the Grossmünster in the beautiful old town. But there are so many beautiful sights and views in the city of Zurich.
