Switzerland’s third-largest city has around 172,300 inhabitants. On the left side of the River Rhine we are in Grossbasel with the beautiful Old Town around Marktplatz, where City Hall is also located. On the right side of the Rhine we stroll through Kleinbasel and pass the “Mittlere Brücke” (he bridge in the middle), which connects the Old Town on both sides of the river.

While known as a global centre for the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, Basel has much more to offer. Its numerous art and cultural institutions are also world-renowned. Definitely worth a panorama!

A handcrafted knife, made in Switzerland.

The blade is made of surgical steel material number 1.4116, material designation AISI 440A, Rockwell hardness 54-55 HRC. The almost velvety handle is made of walnut wood.
